I. Format: (60 pts)

__________  Is the literature cited done properly and punctuated correctly( follow the format I gave you). This is a list of only the sources you cited.
  You must have at least 7 sources to get credit. You will get 15 points for this - minimum of 7 sources. (20 pts)

__________  Does is include all of the required parts? (20 pts)
  title page
  abstract
  outline
  body of paper (discussion)with footnotes.
  appendix (optional)
  literature cited (minimum of 7entries)

II English: (70 pts)

__________  organization/ style. Is it in logical order? Paragraph development-1 main idea each paragraph. Includes an introduction as well as conclusion.(30 pts)

__________  neatness /grammar/ spelling (10 pts)- 1 for each error. Proof read, proof read, proofread. Buddy up!

__________   is it properly footnoted? Everything which needs a footnote has one. Everything which is NOT your idea or common knowledge needs a     footnote. ( 10 pts)

_________  Does the abstract correctly summarize  the paper? IS easy to read or  understand? ( 100- 175 words) (20 pts)

III. Science: (70 pts)

__________  is it factually correct ? ( Is the science right?) (20 pts)

__________  Completeness. Did you adequately present your point and defend it. There are no right answers. I am looking for the strength of your facts.  Be sure you only defend one side of the issue. This is not a compare and contrast  paper. (50 pts)
