Your mission is to go undercover as a
turkey on rye with mayonnaise
sandwich. You will travel through the digestive tract
and describe what happens
to you from mouth to egestion. Be careful to avoid detection. Please
send a
letter describing your journey.
Be descriptive and creative as possible. I want you to get into the role of a sandwich; animate your essay, what would you be feeling at each step? Your essay will be worth 50 pts as follows:

v describe the digestive process in each organ- chemical and mechanical (where applicable)

process of absorption of nutrients- after all, the purpose of digestion

get food so that it can be absorbed.

You can be scientifically
accurate without naming all the organs involved!
