Mrs. Wright’s Rules : the "wright" way to do things

Be responsible:
• Come on time to class and lab. On time means, when the clock ticks to the first minute of class.
• RB: be prepared with spiral notebook, notebook, paper, pen and pencil and text book/ review book. Text book should be covered at all times.
• AP: be prepared with notebook (your choice) pen and pencil
Be respectful:
• respect the rights of your classmates. (No verbal abuse, swearing or rude words ).
• treat classroom equipment with respect- you carelessly break it, you bought it
• Do not touch anything on my desk, the front lab bench or around the room without my permission
• when you chew gum I don’t want to see it, hear it or find it.
• You will treat every other classmate with the same rights and respect as you are given.
Maintain a positive learning environment:
• Cheating will NOT be tolerated. Both (all) parties will receive a "0" grade for papers which are copied. If it is a lab, you will NOT earn a lab credit.
•  Don't interrupt other classes- get passes (library or make up work) before school, at the end of your class or after school
• Do not interrupt class by calling out answers or talking out of turn.
Follow all safety rules:
• Listen and follow all safety rules. If you are unsafe during a lab activity you will be sent out of the room and given a "0" for the lab. I will call home.
• Goggles must be worn during any activity working with liquid chemicals or heating them.
  

Consequences:

• First offense:warning
• Second offense:Stay after class
• Third offense:detention after school (I may call home)
• Forth offense:phone call home and/or referral
• Fifth offense:sent to office and referral and phone call home
