Membership in the National Honor Society is one of the highest honors that can be awarded to a high school student. Selection to NHS is a privilege, not a right. Students do not apply for membership in the National Honor Society; instead they provide information to be used by the Faculty Council to support their candidacy for membership. Membership is granted only to those students who have demonstrated high standards of scholarship, service, leadership and character. Candidates who meet the scholarship requirement of 88% cumulative average, will be given forms to submit for consideration by the committee.
